Modding a New Map

Modding a new map into Path of Titans is highly flexible and nearly any kind of map can be added, such as deserts, alien planets, ocean expanses, and more. This tutorial will demonstrate how to set up a map using all of Path of Titans systems, however it will not explain exactly how to create assets and maps in Unreal Engine. There are many tutorials and pages of documentation on the Unreal Engine Documentation site that can help you get started.

Sourcing Map Assets

  • When it comes to filling your map with assets like grass, trees, and rocks, you are welcome to use any base game assets.
  • If you want to create custom assets, that is possible too.
  • We also suggest looking through the Unreal Engine Marketplace where you can purchase asset packs that you are able to use on your map.
  • You can use free Megascans assets as well, so long as you are using them for an Unreal Engine project.
